INSIS is a navigation app for professional truck and bus drivers: truck-aware routing, live road information, and a community of nearby drivers. This page answers common questions and tells you how to reach us.

How do I sign in?

Open the app and use the same method you signed up with:

  • Email and password: tap “Already have an account? Sign in”, enter your email and password. Forgot it? Tap “Forgot password?” and we’ll email you a reset link.
  • Sign in with Apple or Google: tap the button and confirm.
  • Email or phone code: tap “Continue with Email or Phone” and enter the code we send you.

If the app says your email is already registered, you created the account with a different method — sign in the way you did before. Each method is a separate account, and you stay signed in on your device until you sign out.

03

How do I restore my Premium purchase?

  1. Sign in to INSIS with the account you bought Premium with.
  2. Open Profile and tap Unlock Premium.
  3. Tap Restore Purchases.

Purchases are tied to your Apple ID through the App Store, so use the same Apple ID on your device. To manage or cancel your subscription, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Deleting your INSIS account does not cancel a subscription.

04

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, inside the app: open Profile, tap Privacy & data, then Delete my account and confirm.

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, vehicle details, trip history, marked-driver requests and marks, and your sign-in. It can’t be undone. It does not cancel an active Premium subscription — cancel that in your Apple ID settings.

If you can’t sign in to delete it yourself, email us from the address on the account and we’ll help.

What are Marked drivers?

Marked drivers lets you follow a driver you know on your own map. You ask, they choose:

  • Ask (Premium): tap a driver’s vehicle on the map and choose “Mark this driver”, or go to Profile → Marked drivers and enter their nickname. Sending requests and seeing the star are part of Premium.
  • They decide (free): the other driver is asked whether to allow it. They can Allow, Decline, or block requests from you — answering and removing a mark is always free, with or without Premium.
  • The star: if they allow, their vehicle shows a yellow star on your map only. No one else sees anything different, and it only shows while they are visible on the map.
  • Remove it any time: either of you can remove the mark from Profile → Marked drivers (“Drivers I marked” or “Who marked me”). It disappears for both of you immediately.

After a driver declines, you can’t ask them again for 7 days.

06

What is free, and what is Premium?

  • Always free: the map with your position and other drivers, SOS and ALERT (send and receive), night mode, chat, and answering or removing Marked-driver marks. Signing in, vehicle setup, your profile, Restore Purchases, deleting your account and this page are always available.
  • Premium: truck and bus navigation with turn-by-turn guidance, the voice assistant, tachograph analysis, Address Photo-Scan, live weather and truck restrictions (the weather bar and warnings), and sending Marked-driver requests. A free trial counts as Premium; during the trial, AI photo analysis is limited to 5 analyses.

Premium features stay visible in the app; tapping one without Premium shows what it includes. To manage or cancel a subscription, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone.

How do I share a place into INSIS?

  • From another app: in Google Maps, Apple Maps, WhatsApp, Telegram, Mail or any app with a Share button, tap Share and choose INSIS Navigator. INSIS opens on that place; with Premium it goes straight to the route preview. You can share a map link, a WhatsApp location, or plain coordinates such as 45.4642, 9.1900.
  • From a copied link: if you copy a Google Maps or Apple Maps link and then open INSIS, a small banner asks “Navigate to the shared location?”. INSIS looks at the clipboard only when you open the app, only for a map link, and only through the paste permission iOS asks you for. Each link is offered once.
  • Without Premium: the place is still shown on the map for free. Navigating to it is part of Premium, so you will see what Premium includes.

Short Google Maps links (maps.app.goo.gl) are opened by our server, which only follows the link to Google and does not keep it.
